10.24.09 Brent + Tracy | Wedding at the Royal Playa | Photos by Matt
02.26.2010 in Weddings, Main | by Sol Tamargo

*** RETROACTIVE POSTS, WEDDINGS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN BLOGGED YET**** We are trying to make an effort to blog all of our weddings, its just seemingly impossible to put all 100+ of them online.

Going back in time, here's another wedding I just found under Matt's belt.

His ability to make great compositions + the use of creating lighting never cease to amaze me.

I love my crazy talented husband!

Brent and Tracy's wedding was at the Royal playa, this is not an easy location to shoot, lighting can get tricky.., but Mr. Flash Flavor genius did an amazing job.

I included the slideshow so you can get to see more., or just browse down to see a few images.

02.19.2010 in Weddings, Main | by Sol Tamargo

A super old retroactive blog post here...going back in time to May 2009.

Here's another wonderful event that wasn't blogged yet. Brittany and Chris wedding was in Atlanta GA, US in one of the most gorgeous historic homes of the city. The Swan House at the Atlanta History Center has to be one of the most classic venues we have worked at.

Matt flew back to his home town accompanied by Vincent and they also had the help of Cathi, our Atlanta associate.

Here are some of my favorites of the day:

01.15.2010 Christina + Daniel LOVE under the rain |Wedding at Iberostar del Mar | Photos by Vincent
02.18.2010 in Weddings, Main | by Sol Tamargo

Is february too early to give away the Bride of the Year award???... Don't know..

Here's a bride that totally deserves big KUDOS for the best attitude on her wedding day

As I was reviewing Christina + Daniel's wedding from Iberostar paraiso del Mar hotel, couldn't stop and think "This is a couple that REALLY knows what a wedding should be all about" Marring the Love of your life, rain or shine I DO!".., ZERO fricking out because the weather is going wild.

No one was prepared, no umbrellas., nothing.. and that includes our all star photographers Vincent and Jon, that kept working at their best!

Great job documenting their ceremony, under the rain.

Jonathan's photo

The moment Christina and her father started to walk down the aisle, mother nature sent down her blessing with rain, lots and lots of rain..

Vincent's photo
How about the attitude!!! HUGE smiles!!

Are those tears or raindrops?? maybe both??

Vincent's photo

Everybody had only smiles

04.16.09 Dianne + Ryan Wedding at Secrets Maroma
02.15.2010 in Main, Weddings | by Matt Adcock

Here is a retroactive blog post from 2009...just wanting to get a little "couple loving" out there for V-day!

This wedding was at the awesome Secrets Maroma Hotel. We have done very little shooting there actually and enjoyed seeing the property again. For me, it was my first time shooting there!

Dianne + Ryan actually eloped and planned for ZERO guests to attend, just a private evening on the beach with words of matrimony.... However, as outgoing as they were, they met up with lots of people at the resort prior to their wedding and befriended them. These folks attended the ceremony, dressed to kill, as always :)

For my photographer amigos checking out this blog.... this was only 2 hours of coverage. WOW, when was the last time you shot a wedding, only 2 hours of shooting....

Matt's photo (pensando, thinking, getting ready for that big moment..._)

Matt's photo
I love shooting random images to establish a sense of place....

Matt's photo
First time they see each other just an hour or so the special moment together.

Matt's photo (this was actually a very funny moment as it seems there is somewhat of an inside joke among B&G and all their amigos they met at the resort the week of the wedding. Appaarently, when viewed from a certain angle, the central palapa and its side "twins" (as seen in the background) appear to be rather phallic in nature...

Sol's photo (suddenly, the guest count rises)

Matt's photo (and now we meet the other invited amigos) At the beach, there really no rules, eh?

Matt's photo (He put his cerveza down so he could grip the nikon film body so he could frame up his shot and chief on his stogey at the same time)

Sol's photo (great candid moment here Sol, love his reaction and especially that you mixed in with their guests...

Sol's photo (the guests get even more excited)

Matt's photo (lots of birds too)

Underwater Beauty
02.12.2010 in Adventures, Main | by Sol Tamargo

Last weekend we took sunday off and decided to go swimming to both a cenote and the ocean. I had my underwater gear and enjoyed my self relaxing taking photos.

It is an amazing experience to see nature at its best, in an enviroment not many people have the fortune to explore, it was beautiful to see the light playing with shapes and textures as it makes its way down to the deeps, and I also made new friends!!

Here a few of my favorite images:

This turtle was really nice! she didn't got scared to have my big housing so close to her

Light coming down is gorgeous, I absolutely LOVE just to see it, to be able to photograph it is a bonus!

After the cenote we went to the ocean, and oh surprise!! I made new friends!

I have never seen a "calamar" just chilling, this was the cuttest guy ever!

Looking forward to more underwater swimming adventures!
