Whats important to realize is that anytime your camera goes in or near the water, your taking big risks. Afterall, these cameras we are using are kinda spendy. Add a sexy L series prime lens, flash, radio controller...you've got a down payment on a house in your hands.

Today we got news of a recent publication featuring Sol! This edition is one of WPPI's first digital publications in Spanish. Some of our brides may ask (what the heck is WPPI and why do I care). Well, WPPI is an acronym that stands for Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. Each year, they host a trade show in Las Vegas with over 12,000 attendants. It is one of the largest photographer organizations out there.

They are now reaching out to Spanish speaking Latino Photographers by publishing a newsletter in Espanol. They are featuring industry leading photographers who continue to set the bar and lead the way in their creative field.

We are stoked to see this wedding publication hit the news stand. We managed to get one of our weddings featured in 16 regional magazines throughout the United States. This article will appear in all 16 editions of the Fall/Winter 2009 issue of Brides Local Magazines to a combined circulation of over 1 million. The issue will remain on the news stand for 6 months.

Maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with our vendors has always been super important priority for us and we feel there is nothing stronger than this national publication effort.

Wow, we are so excited to make this list. Not only have we drooled and followed the work of the other photographers listed in previous years, we have really idolized some of them. We are elated and totally humbled to be selected.

What does this mean? We really love our job. We really love our clients and go to ALL ends to meet expectations. Being recongnized by American Photo this year is really icing on the cake to the wonderful season we have been having! We are excited for an awesome 2009 and thank our wonderful clients for trusting the del Sol Vision.
