Results out for the 2011 WPJA Fall Contest. As always, we are humbled to be a part of such amazingly talented artists in the industry and pull inspiration from you all!


WPJA hosts a quarterly contests that help each photographer accumulate points. The photographer with the most points at the end of the year is honored with the esteemed "Photographer of the Year." While it seems pretty straight forward, there is one trick, if you place an image in any of their portrait or detail categories, you loose points towards the photographer of the year...

2011 ISPWP Fall Photo Contest

The del Sol team is humbled to have done it again! ISPWP (The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) has honored our team with an amazing 16 Award Winning Placements, with a whopping 6 in the top 10! So many congratulations to all of the amazing contest winners - you inspire us to do better, we're fortunate to be a part of so many talented professionals in our field.

Love the use of the locals to really make a story dynamic here!

We're still trying to find ways to make our mermaids shine! The texture and mood here make it so ethereal.

Sol is so amazing at seeing the inherent sexiness in us all, but especially in her brides. Wow!

Can you believe those tears on that GORGEOUS face? Thank you Kera!

This was a super sexy, super awesome session. I just love the light and motion!

I love, love, love emotion. Especially on the faces of brides and grooms when hearing the recounted tales of love and laughter during toasts and speeches. This was at Xcaret.

Rain didn't let this couples day get ruined. We made magic, and the joined their love. Seriously humbled to have been a part of this one!
