Every year, the WPJA hosts a contest each quarter of the year and allows its worldwide members to compete against other members. Each contest is judged by the photojournalism industry leaders. There are over 30 Pulitzer Prize winners/finalists and 2 Pulitzer Prize Jurors from their list of past WPJA judges. I manged to place 4 top ten images in 2008. Amazingly enough, this puts me 4th overall on the 2008 Photographer of the year contest.
I'm honored to appear on this list of superstar photographers.... I look forward to reaching the POY level next year. Its so hard though, just to get one or two images placed every year...
