“My husband told me a very cute story.  He said he heard the staff saying, “The bride is walking across the bridge, she looks beautiful”.  He had no idea what my dress looked like and I approached him through a beautiful trail lined with trees.  I could see him, but he couldn’t see me.  The staff comment came at the prefect time, just before he would finally see his blushing bride.” – Jodi

An elopement: just you and your other half traveling to a perfect beach to say “I do”. It’s funny that even when you choose to be on your own, the people around you contribute to the most memorable moments of your wedding day.

As well as capturing the perfect paradise, we strive to celebrate these “incidental” guests. Photobombers, resort staff or other hotel guests who can’t resist applauding the new husband and wife are a part of almost every destination wedding story. Walking through the resort and hearing complete strangers gasp “oh – she’s beautiful” and “congratulations!!” has the sweetest effect on bride and groom and we want our couples to remember that!

While many couples choose to have their wedding ceremony inside Paradisus resort, taking advantage of the striking architecture, Jodi was all about the BEACH.

“We were sold when we saw the pictures of Paradisus and their client comments on Yelp. The resort had a “zen” feel, the grounds were beautiful and the butler service was outstanding!   It truly was paradise and went above and beyond our expectations.

I felt like a princess on our special day due to the amazing Paradisus staff and Del Sol Photographers. Valeria was fantastic.  I don’t like to have my picture taken alone and she set my mind at ease.  I felt like a movie star being followed by the paparazzi.  She was very sweet, sincere so talented. ” – Jodi

Jodi and Michael told us they didn’t want to go through the planning stress and splash out on a wedding which is over at the blink of an eye. For them, the stressful planning and expense was too much for what they would get in return.

“Elope on the beach, spend a week with your husband and throw a celebration party when you return.  We are having a celebration weekend with a catered boat ride on one evening and a reception dinner the next evening.  All at a fraction of the price and stress free!”
