“The Riviera Maya cenote Trash the Dress was so special for us! It was really the first time we could spend a day together, alone as husband and wife just celebrating US!” – Sabrina

Sabrina and Michael followed their incredible Xcaret Church Wedding with a cenote trash the dress. A trash the dress is usually about wearing your wedding dress one final time. However, Sabrina couldn’t bring herself to jump in the water wearing her gorgeous Inbal Dror gown!

“While I absolutely loved my wedding dress and am sure it would have looked amazing underwater, I just couldn’t go under water with it!We instead chose a flowy Lurelly gown for our underwater photo session.”

I guess we had a ‘Trash A Dress’ rather than ‘Trash THE dress’ :)” – Sabrina

Sabrina busts two popular trash the dress myths: you don’t have to wear your wedding dress, or even be a swimmer!

“Our families thought we were CRAZY to do a cenote Trash the Dress… especially for me, as I cannot swim!”

“With my husband, Del Sol Photography was there and I felt completely safe, even with a safety swimmer Arube! I initially thought I would have completely freaked out, but as with our wedding, They were amazing and truly the most amazing cheerleaders!” – Sabrina

“We had so much fun, and it was an amazing and magical experience that we will never forget!”

“Thank you Del Sol for capturing the two most amazing days of our lives. Your vision as photographers are truly unique and amazing works of art. Thank you again and we would never hesitate to recommend you to the world! Abrazos!”
