“We didn’t even know what a trash the dress session was but when we saw the galleries on the del Sol site we instantly knew we had to do it!”

“They’re such beautiful unique photos that are a once in a lifetime opportunity that we couldn’t pass up.”

“Our family thought we were insane initially!  They couldn’t believe we were going to get our wedding suit and dress trashed in the water.  Once we showed them some of the pictures they all thought it looked like an amazing idea.”

“The experience was unbelievable. It was a really great intimate experience that we are so happy we did.”

“We knew that water was going to be cold because we had been to the cenotes before but you really can’t prepare yourself for the type of cold for that many hours! It was a little difficult to get used to the cold and making sure we got the poses right, didn’t let our arms float up and get in the way of the pictures, making sure not to puff your cheeks, etc.  There was a loooong list of things our photographer told us not to do and we were like: ohhh thats it! haha.  But in the end it wasn’t too hard at all.”

“We had so much fun and didn’t want it to end, we loved it!  We wanted to get as many great pictures as possible even if we were freezing cold!”

We love that Michelle and Adam embraced the trash the dress experience and included an “Adam and Eve” session in their experience! We wanted to know what inspired them to do so and how it felt to be the being (almost) naked in nature?

“I’d have to say Del Sol Photography inspired us.  We initially didn’t plan on doing the Adam and Eve session but in the heat of the moment and how well things were going, we were just going with the flow and being in the moment.”

“It was a little nerve-racking with other people (tourists) walking through the cenotes but we just overlooked it and went with the flow.  We honestly felt like we were models because so many people would stop and stare at us and take their own pictures of our photoshoot.  Thank goodness nobody took pics of the Adam and Eve portion!”
