Wedding at Grand Coral Beach Club – Sarah and Karl

“Finally putting the missing piece into our little family puzzle” – Karl, on marrying Sarah after 15 years together

How long to wait… before calling after a first date, moving in together, getting married? Sarah and Karl married after 15 years together and brought their children Chloe and Lleyton all the way from the UK.

It felt great to marry how we had always dreamt of. We had to wait until the time was right so it was everything we had imagined, it was lovely when we were in the moment and living our visions together, it was a truly beautiful day. – Sarah

It seems a little bit ironic (BOOM!) that Sarah and Karl made the effort to leave Britain’s notoriously dreary weather only to have rain on their wedding day. Time and again our experience is that a bride with a good attitude goes a long way and Sarah literally kicked up her heels:

It was strange how relaxed we were. I kept thinking the rain would stop but it got worse and worse so you just have to laugh it off – everything happens for a reason.

I pulled into the venue it was still raining slightly and no word of a lie: my wedding shoe touched the floor and the rain stopped, I felt like cinderella!

The air was cool which it hardly ever is, we were all comfortable, it’s almost like it was meant to be that way. The sky brightened and the rain stayed away, the whole of the wedding evening was perfect. – Sarah

We love to know with the gift of 20×20 hindsight what advice out couples would give to others:

It’s so important to find the right wedding planners which we certainly did with Sabrina at Weddings Riviera Maya. We put our full trust in her recommendations and was so pleased that she introduced us to Del Sol Photography our wonderful violinist & band trio who we loved.

Everything she promised us was delivered to perfection, we can’t thank you all enough for making our day so special. Our photographer Debora was fantastic so friendly and warm and she really wanted to capture our special day to perfection. – Sarah and Karl

Wedding at Grand Coral Beach Club (both ceremony and reception venue)   We would like to add, the grand Coral Beach club is located in one of the most PRIME location.  Their beaches are even visible from the downtown ferry pier in Playa.  We highly recommend this venue for a beach wedding ceremony and wedding reception.  Location, Location, Location, as they say, this is one of the best of the best.
