Wedding day Alcohol
Wedding day Alcohol
Dear Alcohol – we had a deal where you would make me funnier, smarter and a better dancer… I saw the video, we need to talk.
Weddings are all about the joining together of two souls for all eternity. They are also a great big shiny justification for an awesome party :)
Alcohol has it’s place in the wedding day from dutch courage to celebration. Champagne is traditionally celebratory tipple, here in Mexico many of our couples would rather toast with tequila. Other favs are cold Corona, XX, Tecate light or Modelo, which seem to be making lots of appearances, for what that’s worth. Personally, we like beer. LOVE beer.
Signature cocktails are a pretty hot trend, a special mention to Akiin Beach Club who have gorgeous “his and her’s” cocktail stations. If you fancy a more animatronic alcohol experience check out Chelsea and Michael’s insane TEQUILA ROBOT courtesy of Hercon Entertainment! Don’t be afraid to bring alcohol into your wedding ceremony! Tiffany and Justin came up with the idea of a ‘unity cocktail’ as their symbolic ceremony – way to go guys!
Love it or abstain from it, alcohol quotes abound. We love the written word and we have seen quite a few alcohol related wedding signs. Some of our faves were featured in the Huffington Posts: 20 Cute And Clever Wedding Signs That Add A Little Somethin’ to The Party [Read on Huffington post]
To sum up: booze is a cool alternative to wedding favors, it cheers you up, cools you down and it’s fun for games too… just watch out for the kids when you are playing tequila limbo ;)
