What is an Adam and Eve Couple Experience?

Adam and Eve couple experiences sessions are a mix of couples boudoir, trash the dress, fine art nude, and underwater photography. It’s capturing you naked in nature in a beautiful and artistic way. We keep it tasteful! If trash the dress and couple experiences are sessions are about coming undone, Adam and Eve photoshoots are the ultimate. How much more undone can you be than the birthday suit? Honestly, though, we cover, hide, and creatively pose our shots for safe factors.

We love to push boundaries and take the gifts the universe gives us to make amazing art. Why have an Adam and Eve Experience

Fine art nude photography and couples boudoir sessions are an amazing experience. Though the obvious thing to focus on is the badass images that result from the session – don’t forget the process. There is something extremely special about being naked in nature with your partner. It’s also a really fun (and often funny) shared experience!

We generally start wearing something for some “safe” photos, then gradually peel away the layers. We aim to deliver a selection of photos that you can hang on your walls, share on social media (without breaking community guidelines – holla Instagram!), and some that you will keep for your eyes only!

Real Adam and Eve Sessions

The reality of an Adam and Eve TTD is that none of our brides or grooms are models. None of them know how to pose nor how to hold their bodies and usually all have a goofy puffy face while holding their breath while underwater. We’re constantly directing: “open your eyes, don’t hide your face” or “Oops, wardrobe malfunction, pull up the dress.” The road to the Adam and Eve concept is paved with many awesome couples. It is an ultimate gesture of trust for our clients to let us shoot them naked.

Randy and Susan told us the inspiration for their Trash the Dress session was the video for the song “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. Susan was hesitant to use her wedding dress for the shoot so she brought along a second-hand dress, which was a bit on the big side. She literally swam out of her dress underwater – and the Adam and Eve concept was born!

Susan discovered her wedding dress didn’t quite fit and ended up swimming right out of it! The dress floated up beside her and, with the help of a photobombing catfish, inspired the creation of the Adam and Eve concept for Matt Adcock.

So – you’ve seen Adam and Eve trash the dress photos and you’d love to do it – we’re sure you have some questions in mind! How does it really work getting naked in front of the camera? What should you bring? What’s it like??!! Here are some of the most frequently asked questions, to see REAL Adam and Eve sessions scroll all the way down.

Do I have to get completely naked? Will there be people all around me?

Well, there are no rules and this is the beautiful thing about art. Most often we start out fully dressed and do half the session with clothes on. Then we slowly start the unclothing process. Bit by bit, photo by photo, the clothes come off.

We take this opportunity to photography some sexy lingerie. Perhaps bring a few options to play with. Often, we are concealing nudity with pieces of fabric or with strategic posing. The aim is to be suggestive and sexy. In most cases, we try to avoid crowds and have some very special secluded cenotes and beaches for these types of shoots.

Do I have to be getting married to do an Adam and Eve Trash the Dress?

Not at all! You don’t need to wear a wedding dress, get creative! We had epic shoots before the wedding day and that amazing anniversary sessions like Tiffany + Tauren and Sandra + Hayden.

Do I need to mention our interest in Adam and Eve photos before our session?

Odd as this question is, we sometimes discover ON THE SHOOT day that our clients are wanting to get naked! Please, if you book us for a trash the dress session don’t be shy. Tell us right away if you are thinking about stripping off. Letting us know that you are thinking about some less-clothed photos ahead of time will help us choose the location. That info will put us on the right page for making decisions ahead of time. Being spontaneous is always ok too!

What kind of fabric is best for swimming?

Eventually, the clothes come OFF… but we still shoot pics with the dress on too. Light fabrics like organza, chiffon, tulle, and lace work great. Layers and volume look amazing. Veils are amazing – the longer the better! Lace floating in crystal clear water is spectacular. We have veils you can borrow and you can pick up cheap veils online.

What should the groom wear?

Linen, khaki, or cotton pants are comfy – ideally not black or dark blue as you can blend into the water. A cotton shirt or button up will do (avoid tank tops). As long as its breathes. We have had some clients wear jeans, but they’re heavy to swim in. Bottom line: be comfortable. Also, remember that wet fabrics get see-through! Pink and black polka dot boxers under wet khaki linen pants are funny to some but not everyone (just a tip!) Have fun – how about a superman shirt?

Do I need to be a good swimmer?

One last thing… Knowing how to swim helps, but isn’t required. Sabrina couldn’t swim at all….but that didn’t stop her from being fabulous and looking like a magazine cover.

Can I do an Adam and Eve trash the dress on the beach?
