Can and Zhoushi came from China for a trip to Cuba and to travel around the Quintana Roo. Can’s cousin Lola, also vacationing with them, had the awesome idea to give Can a pre-wedding trash the dress session with Sol as a gift. She thought it would be very special to take wedding pictures with the ruins and nature.

“Trash the dress is special as we don’t see it in a lot of wedding pictures, especially in Asia. We looked for many studios online and decided to do it with Sol as the pictures online were very attractive!” – Lola

The session started on the rooftop of Pueblito Escondido Hotel before heading off to the jungle. Can was initially not sure she wanted underwater pictures but in the end she and Zhoushi had an amazing time in the cenotes.

“They loved it, it’s really special to go inside the water to refresh a bit from the hot Riviera Maya weather! All in all, it’s really a special experience!” – Lola

We are honored to have Can and Zhoushi visiting us from the other side of the world and asking us to document their love in Mexico.

“I love the freedom of having a couple just for me…Plenty of time to shoot in different locations. Can and Zhoushi were very fun to work with, it was even more special for me as they traveled from a very far away land. Shooting at Pueblito Escondido gave the “Mexican colorful” element – that coupled with the jungle, ruins and cenote provided a very dynamic experience and images.” – Sol
