Karina and Nathan planned a small family celebration and put special emphasis on the fact that they wanted their families to vacation while they got to know each other… Although immediate family members usually always attend wedding ceremonies, Nathan’s grandfather couldn’t make it.   We love the idea they incorporated to remember him:

Not everyone was able to attend that would have love to, my grandfather being one of them. Although he wasn’t present physically, he was still able to be a part of the ceremony and I was able to hold him close to my heart. – Nathan

We always love to hear from our clients and get their reflection on how things went down for their wedding day.  Why would anyone want to plan a destination wedding?  Here is the answer:

Having our two families meet and spend a week together on a resort in Mexico, with nothing more than to have a good time, get to know each other and celebrate with us, was absolutely amazing. Family is so important to us and we enjoyed sharing our special moment with all of them. – Karina

Specifically, we wanted to give special attention to Karina and Nathan’s advice about believing in the decisions you make and letting go a little.   What was their key ingredient to planning a successful destination wedding?  Trust!

Planning a wedding from the states was difficult but totally worth it. It’s hard to let go and trust your vendors, but it needs to be done. Our vendors were all fantastic and made our dream wedding a reality.  Styling Trio and Disco Movil. They were fantastic vendors, we were pleased with all of our choices and would not have done anything differently.

We are so glad that we decided to have a destination wedding.  We could not have asked for a better team than Del Sol Photography. From the planning and booking process to the wedding day when Debora knocked on our room door everything was seamless. Matt the Co-Owner of Del Sol reached out to us a few days before the wedding to confirm everything and to ensure that everything was set as planned. Debora was amazing to work with!!! She made us all feel so comfortable and at ease. We would highly recommend Del Sol to every couple. – Karina & Nathan

Thank you so much for the kind words Karin and Nathan, we are humbled you trust so much in our creative vision!   Just for what it is worth for all other brides and grooms reading this.  We think it is worth a mention to add that we LOVE the interaction between Karina and her father and nominate that photo to join our other favorite “Father / Daughter” moments.
