Julie and Geoffrey are originally from Newfoundland, Canada, home to some of the nicest people on earth (no Newfie jokes here!) They love travel, have lived in three different cities in the last five years and with guests arriving from all over the US and Canada a destination wedding was a great choice.

We decided to get married in Mexico after attending our friends (and my bridesmaid!) destination wedding a few years ago. Our family and friends are quite spread out geographically, so we thought it would be a great way for everyone to get to know each other, while having fun in the sun!

The most amazing moment of the wedding had to be the ceremony on the pergola deck – it was a beautiful day and we were so happy to have our closest family and friends there to experience it with us. My advice would be to relax and enjoy the day! The resort wedding coordinator was great and made our day even more enjoyable. – Julie

We had so much fun with the whole clan! The groomsmen were jokesters, “borrowing” the guitars from the musicians to welcome the Julie and Geoffrey to their cocktail hour. There were lots of laughs and love was everywhere, Julie and Geoffrey have surrounded themselves with wonderful people, a gift that will last them a lifetime.

Thank you so much for inviting us to share in your wedding day, we’ll have to visit to get “screeched in” soon! (Ok, one little Newfoundland joke).
