Principal photographer: Sol Tamargo

A trash the dress shoot in a cenote and on the beach with Karla and Rodrigo was the first for Del Sol with….figure skates underwater!

Karlita is an ice skating fanatic and  when I read that on the information she sent us, I knew I would LOVE to shoot her with her skates, that for sure  added a personal touch to the shoot.

The day of the shoot as we were on our way to the cenote, Karlita told me she had two options for her honeymoon:

1.- A week in Paris

2.- A photoshoot with Del Sol

WOW!!! Talk about some pressure here!.. hehe… Well.. GRACIAS Karlita for choosing us over Paris… maybe next time, choose both and I’ll go shoot you in Paris.. LOL…

Karlita’s Pronovias gown was perfect for a trash the dress, the full skirt looked fantastic in the jungle, all that fabric made it look like a giant flower and in the water it was gorgeous! and with makeup by Sara Tamargo, (Sol’s lovely sister)  we couldn’t have asked for a prettier mermaid bride. After exploring the caves, jungle paths and underwater world of the cenote, we headed  to the beach at the Al Cielo hotel to play in the waves and enjoy the afternoon sun. Karlita changed into a pretty pink gown for the beach session and her new husband Rodrigo was strikingly handsome in his long-sleeved guayabera.

I LOVE capturing “Motion and Emotion” and playing in the waves is just perfect for that! The photos are  full of energy, light and love, please be sure to see all the photos! — Con AMOR.  “Sol”

Del Sol Photography would like to thank Karlita and Rodrigo for joining us in this magnificent adventure and for bringing us the unique experience of “underwater figure skating”.
