A destination wedding at Barcelo Maya on the beach was a great escape for hardworking medical student Bailey and nuclear engineer Adam, a time to relax with family and friends and join together in love. Bailey and Adam were all about the FUN, it was a day full of laughter from beginning to end. Bride Bailey wore a lovely gown by Essence of Australia and her natural beauty was enhanced with hair and makeup by The Best Moments. Groom Adam was handsome in his grey suit and long hair in a ponytail…which was cut off at the reception by his bride after years of not having a haircut!  Wedding coordinator Lilian Vargas of the Barcelo Hotels put together a magical day, the bright blue decor, gorgeous flowers and great party were a big hit with everyone. The newlyweds were treated to a clear blue sky during the day and a magnificent full moon at night, they could not have ordered a more perfect day from the universe.

Photographer Martina was there to capture the emotions and details of the day, she shared her thoughts with us:

Bailey was pure laughter, relaxed and spontaneous and so was her wedding day. They broke with the formality of the wedding to celebrate the love of the couple with their closest family and friends with a special touch for Adam’s birthday (the day before), cutting his long hair after years of no haircuts! To end this beautiful day, the blessing of a spectacular full moon that illuminated the calm evening on the beach. (Special thanks to the bridesmaids for the delicious gift of typical Canadian candies!!)  — Martina

Please be sure to see the whole slideshow, the smiles of the newlyweds and the guests are infectious! Del Sol Photography thanks Bailey and Adam for inviting us to be a part of your big day, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
