“We have been together for a long time: 9 years. Our families have gotten to know us and our relationship so well over the years. With so many close friends and family in attendance, we knew that we wanted the ceremony to be deeply personal. It was important to us that the officiant knew us and our relationship.

Bret: “The first look was awesome. My back was turned and so I had no idea when Alyssa would end up behind me. It was very exciting and I couldn’t wait to turn around. When I finally got that tap on the shoulder, I turned around and Alyssa looked so beautiful. The weather was perfect, Alyssa was perfect. It was surreal and I could not have been happier.” – Bret
Alyssa: “The first look was so much fun. Bret had no idea what the dress looked like, whether or not I would be wearing a veil, he didn’t know about the hairpiece or any of the other small details. It was so exciting to walk towards him and then experience his reaction.”
“I was also so thankful for the private time I got to spend with Bret right before the ceremony. The photographers made it so fun, I’m so thankful we made the decision to do the first look!” – Alyssa
Del Sol: What’s your top destination wedding advice and / or what was the most important lesson you learned from your wedding?
Alyssa: “Generally, my advice would be to give yourself plenty of time to plan for afar and ensure a timeline that captures what is the most important to you.”
Del Sol: What was the most amazing moment of your day?
“We both agree that the ceremony was the most amazing part of the whole day. A close second would be all of the wonderful and loving speeches at the reception.”
Del Sol: How was your experience with the del Sol Photography team?
