Once upon a time a couple of young lovers decided that instead of having a regular wedding, they would Travel to Riviera Maya, Mexico. Little did they know that a Mayan shaman would come along to give them a surprise Mayan wedding ceremony.
They thought Mexico would be a wonderful place to begin their adventure as a married couple and to experience a journey in a place they had never been.
Wishing to have magical photos that captured their experiences they booked Sol.
The adventure began in the early morning with a road trip through a beautiful country.
The first surprise was arriving at a Mayan Village, getting out of the van and being welcomed by the local shaman and his family. They embraced the couple with open arms.
The mayan family offered them an experience they would never forget! The entire family helped orchestrate an impromptu Mayan wedding ceremony, complete with beautiful jewelry, incense, and an orchestra! When the ceremony was complete, the family welcomed the lovers into their home and treated them to delicious homemade tortillas and eggs. What a wonderful gesture!
The experience with them was truly unforgettable and unique. They ended up with a wedding ceremony after all! It was an incredibly powerful moment.
After the surprise wedding ceremony, the next surprise was: nature!
Arriving at a lagoon they couldn’t believe their eyes. It was so enchanting. The water—an incredible shade of turquoise!
Travelers in the middle of a magical nature reservoir…. little fish welcomed them to their world and made them feel like mermaids!
After the lagoon, it was time to get submersed in a cenote that was so clear and beautiful it took their breath away.
The feeling was spellbinding! It felt as if they were a part of a fairytale world where everything was absolutely perfect.
The adventure day finished with a delicious meal at one of the local eateries. So much flavor!
They went back home with incredible memories of a beautiful country and culture that they will never forget. They fell in love with the country and cannot wait to go back!
Starting a new life with an incredible journey in Mexico, they wrote their story to encourage lovers to start their life doing something they have never done, discovering a new world and with hearts filled with love and emotion for the new life ahead of them.
