Beach Wedding Dream Sands Cancun – Janelle and John Paul

One of the wedding day traditions that we love to capture is the exchange of love letters before the ceremony. John Paul told us that he and Janelle wanted to exchange messages to express our deepest thoughts, emotions and love for each other.

“It meant so much to read how my wife felt in her own words. It made me see that I make her better. She was built for me and I was made for her. I can’t explain how beautiful it was. I honestly couldn’t have read it out loud because I would have cried and ruined my face for the wedding.”  – John Paul

Janelle and John Paul chose the beach location for their wedding Dreams Sands Cancun. The resort came highly recommended by their travel agent and also the agents of Del Sol Travels.

“A beach wedding has always been my dream and the location of the beach for the wedding ceremony was breathtaking. The background was everything I’ve ever wanted. I also liked that the resort had just been revamped and it was very intimate. We had a party of 50 and being at a more intimate resort allowed us to see everyone daily.” – Janelle

They also really enjoyed the poolside location for their wedding reception – it was Janelle’s sister and maid of honor, Jackie who had the idea to jump in the pool!

“Everyone was so hot and we are a nontraditional couple so I immediately agreed. It was unbelievable. Honestly, it was one of my favorite moments. It really set the stage for the party.” – Janelle

“Dreams Sands Cancun is amazing, particularly wedding coordinator Rubi, she was amazing.  The DJ was Eduardo Lopez and the MC was Raul Neyra. They were both fantastic. The DJ played awesome music all night and really nailed the music selection. Mr. Neyra, in particular, kept the ceremony going, he was very personable and on top of everything. The makeup artist was Cassandra of Bridal Makeup Cancun. She did a great job with both my hair and makeup. The florist was Marvin from Maya Floral. He did such an amazing job and got the colors perfectly.” – Janelle
