Blue Diamond Resort Riviera Maya

Formally the Mandarin Oriental Maya, the BlueBay group has turned this location into a more intimate, adult-only all-inclusive alternative to their near-by Grand Esmeralda. Like its sister resort, the Blue Diamond also takes inspiration from its Mayan surroundings, but combines it with an Asian influence.

Covering 36-acres, it holds 128 suites situated among tropical foliage, pristine gardens and the beautiful white sand beaches the Riviera Maya is known for. The suites cover a unique range of styles, from beachfront casitas to oceanview rooftop terraces. Decor is a mix of natural and luxury with limestone and wood elements throughout.

As it’s an adults-only resort, they’ve skipped children facilities and made plenty of room for their spa. It covers 25,000 square feet of cutting-edge services that incorporate the local Mayan healing culture, as well as popular Asian healing techniques.
