Britta Uschkamp Lingerie Cenote Fashion Shoot

This lingerie cenote fashion shoot showcases Paris lingerie designer Britta Uschkamp , known for her sexy and romantic beribboned undergarments, pieces of art that show off a woman’s body. She uses bold colors and rich, luxurious fabrics that are tied in multiple ways with her signature ribbons, creating ensembles that are striking and unique. Britta is a long-time friend of Del Sol Photography’s Polly, going back to their days studying together at the prestigious Parisian fashion school L’Institut Français de la Mode. Britta united with Del Sol photographers Polly and Sol in the cenotes of the Riviera Maya, not only as designer but as underwater model for her lingerie cenote shoot! Lauren LoGiudice, adventurous go-getter, writer and actor from NYC joined the adventure, with her fascination with Greta Garbo, she added an old-school Hollywood glamour to the shoot. The results are sexy, passionate and mysterious, with intense lighting and shadows and the contrast of the hard rocks and the smooth skin and curves of the women and the gorgeous designs, it is underwater MAGIC.

I love how Britta sees women: ultra-feminine yet feminist, playful but not little playthings; the more skin she bares the more powerful and impressive she becomes. I adore that her underwear really encourages women to own their bodies and that her ribbons make each time you wear her lingerie unique! It was incredible to work with both of these amazing women, Lauren was fantastic because, as an actress she completely transforms herself. We had so much fun playing with the idea of the golden age of Hollywood glamour and the line between beauty and the grotesque that we see in the images of the era.
