Cancun Church Wedding Gran Caribe Real Vanessa and Diego
The Cancun church wedding of Vanessa and Diego was a traditional celebration of marriage in the beautiful chapel of the Gran Caribe Real. The couple traveled from Peru with their closest family and friends for an intimate destination wedding. We got to know the couple during the getting ready time, relaxing with some jumping on the bed with the bridesmaids before the big event. Bride Vanessa wore a pretty gown with a flowing skirt, perfect for ocean breezes. The small group of guests were all dressed in white as they joined the couple in the “Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel” for the Catholic ceremony and mass. There are few venues in Cancun which offer the traditional Catholic ceremony and the Gran Caribe Real is a wonderful choice, the views of the Mexican Caribbean Sea are spectacular.
Once Vanessa and Diego were pronounced man and wife, they embraced their guests and headed to the beach with photographer Martina for newlywed portraits. They were all smiles and so much in love as they danced in the sand and kissed by the sea. The festivities continued at the Hyatt Zilara (formerly The Royal Cancun) for an afternoon reception in the gazebo. Wedding coordinator Jazmin Bacab worked together with L’Fante Event Decor to create magic for Vanessa and Diego, rustic details like the Mason jars of baby’s breath and blue flowers and a seashell cake made this a very personal and special event.
The couple were so lovely and sweet, they sent us this message after the wedding day:
