Beach Wedding at Hacienda del Secreto – Yen and Gleb

Yen and Gleb met seven years ago while salsa dancing in New York. Since then they have traveled all over the world, enjoying an adventurous life together and and doing it all with a great sense of humor. Yen is an interior designer with impeccable taste so of course her wedding decor was gorgeous! Gleb is an entrepreneur, his current project is the ride-sharing app Ride.com designed to save time, money and the environment!

Yen was glowing in her white strapless gown and Gleb had us laughing with his antics, a VERY funny man and a ham for the camera! The ceremony was on the beach under a rustic chupah and with an aisle made of palm fronds, made all the more cute by the show-stealing ring bearer :)

Hacienda del Secreto is a incredible venue for a wedding. The villas sit on the pristine beach of Playa Secreto – literally “secret beach”. The immaculate location can be attributed to the small community of private homeowners. who are committed to keeping Playa del Secreto as a peaceful and private location: controlling development of the beach and keeping it a hidden gem of the Riviera Maya.

As a wedding reception venue, Hacienda del Secreto’s “Palapa Jack” is an amazing space. High ceilings, palm frond fans and a rope bridge suspended over the dance floor, not your typical venue! Yen and Gleb made great use of the whole venue tossing the bouquet and garter from the bridge and wowing their guests with their knockout Bachata performance – Bravo chicos!
