Destination Wedding Mexico at Grand Velas Riviera Maya – Emily and Stephen

What is truly important for us during this wedding is the fact all of our closest friends and family will be there – celebrating that, as well as celebrating the gift God has given us in finding each other.

We are so excited to be able to have everyone in one place for such a long amount of time compared to a normal wedding. We are so thankful for our friends and family who are traveling to be with us. – Emily

The luxury resort Grand Velas Riviera Maya set the scene for the Mexican beach wedding of Emily and Stephen. Emily confesses to being a beer fanatic so much so she was in her words “dragging them” to Belgium for their honeymoon! We absolutely love that Emily embraced her passion and exchanged the traditional champagne toast with beer! Speaking about her reception plans Emily told us:

“We like to have fun – we’re casual, comical, and really like a good time. Some of our favorite things are classic cars and beer. Cars will be hard to incorporate, but we are going to do a Belgian beer toast instead of champagne. We love rap and hip hop, being from Atlanta, so may figure out a way to work that in. My mother might have a different opinion though… :)” – Emily
