Cute Kids everywhere at this Paradisus Gabi Bridge Wedding – Racquel & Troy
Enjoy the chaos. Slow Down. Take in the beauty that you both have created together – Racquel
… with a total of 17 kids at Raquel and Troy’s wedding this is top advice!
Kids at weddings are always fun to photograph, they are guaranteed to shake up the formality of the day playing with petals or marching into a wedding ceremony with a pink Dora the Explorer umbrella! Kids ruled at this wedding from the get go with the welcome party doubling as Racquel’s daughter Maya’s 5th birthday – happy birthday Mayaboo!
Children whey were even the deciding factor for choosing Paradisus as a wedding venue. Racquel told us “the single most important factor was having a great kids pool and kids program” adding “You can’t beat the beautiful, picturesque backdrop of the Gabi Bridge.”
Family legacy and tradition is a huge part of any wedding day and we were delighted to discover a version of the lasso tradition in Raquel and Troy’s Filipino wedding ceremony – pinning the bride’s veil to the groom:
The veil is a symbol of the faithful love we have for each other. Through the passing of the years, the veil will remind us that we belong to each other and no one else. The cord symbolizes an infinite bond of love we share that keeps our relationship strong in the face of adversity. It reminds us to face our life together courageously and in mutual support of each other in carrying out our duties as a couple.
Last word goes to Troy who always says: “my Love, my wife, my life” and indeed, what more does any man need :)
