“I’d choose you in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, I will never stop choosing you. ” – Cassie

Writing your own vows can be a daunting prospect but it’s one of the best ways to make your wedding ceremony unique. Cassie told us that they are so glad they chose to write and say their own vows because it made their ceremony much more personal – even though she was nervous talking in front of everyone!

“I’ll always be there to laugh with you, pick you up when life knocks you down, and most importantly hug you just because.  I definitely took my sweet time finding the woman that I will be with for the rest of my life, but you are definitely worth the wait.” – Clay

“I feel like everything in my life has lead me to you. My choices, my heartbreaks, and my regrets. When we are together, my past seems worth it. Because if I had done one thing differently, I might not have ever met you. I don’t need you. I need Christ and him alone. But I choose you, and because of him I have chosen perfectly.” – Cassie

We love Cassie and Clay’s wedding vows and Clay absolutely stole the show with his special vows for Cassie’s daughter Kiley. What better way to include children in your wedding than to make special promises to them too!

“When I met Momma I knew that she had a little girl at home.  What I didn’t know is how big of an impact you would have on my life.  You are the sweetest and most loving little girl I have ever met.  I promise to always love you, take care of you, and help you grow into the great woman that I know you’ll become. ” – Clay

We love to notice family heirlooms that pop up as meaningful wedding day details. Cassie wore a beautiful cameo brooch from Clay’s grandmother.

“She is in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s and couldn’t be there. She helped raise Clay and was always very close to him. Her name is Delores Trump. She’s very special and close to his heart. I wanted to wear something of hers as my something old and borrowed.”

Cassie and Clay chose the beautiful Gabi Bridge at the Paradisus la Esmeralda for their wedding ceremony.

“We chose the Paradisus based on reviews online. The amazing friendly staff, how great the resort is for families and children and also how clean and beautiful it is. We loved Wendy our family concierge. She made Kiley feel like a princess and her special helper. Lilibeth our wedding planner took care of all the details and helped make our day perfect. Juan at the pool made sure we never went without a drink or snack. The resort was everything we had hoped it would be!”

Martina and Del Sol were great to work with! Martina was very friendly, personable and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was patient waiting for people to clear out of the background to be sure to get perfect shots. She was amazing!

“We love that we did a destination wedding. The planning was a lot of work but it was all worth it! We chose to travel for our wedding because we really wanted it to be a special occasion that would be more than just one day. We wanted to make wonderful memories with our closest friends and family in a gorgeous place. Mexico was perfect and more than we could have hoped for. ” #travelforlove”
