40th Anniversary Ceremony Tulum Mexico

Tulum is such a magical place on this planet and is one of the reasons we chose Las Ranitas, a tiny boutique property with numerous villas placed in front of the Caribbean Ocean. We celebrated the 40th wedding anniversary of Toni and Phil with a unique Cosmic themed celebration.

It was SO exciting to see family from the Midwest US (IOWA) who had literally never ever seen an ocean before make the journey thousands of miles to Mexico for this special celebration. Our family chose shaman’s Charlie and Marie to host a special Mayan / Cosmic Ceremony where the focus is on asking permission of the 4 cardinal directions (North, East, South and West).

My Favorite part is when everyone makes noise and plays musical instruments at various points of the ceremony… everyone participates, the energy circle is magical. Made even more mysterious by the smoke from the Copal Resin.
