Xcaret Park wedding venues are simply stunning. If you are looking for unique an epic wedding venues unlike anything you’ve ever seen, Xcaret is the place for you! With the recent addition of their very own all-inclusive hotel, Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Xcaret is going from strength to strenth. It’s home to the most stunning wedding venues in Mexico if not the world.

Xcaret Park’s strong suit is their Catholic wedding chapels. If you are looking to get married in a church in Mexico Xcaret is a great place to start looking! Xcaret is also great for large wedding groups. Their enormous reception venue, La Isla has a maximum capacity of 600!

What Xcaret Park is not, is a “toes in the sand” wedding location. Even the Natural Pools which overlooks the ocean, is stone floor. For beachy wedding vibes hop next door to Hotel Xcaret Mexico.

With the lack of sand in mind, Xcaret Park appeals to couples planning black tie or elegant weddings. It’s also amazing at NIGHT – which is great if you want to beat the heat. Evening weddings at Xcaret benefit from the Park being closed to the public and offer magical opportunies for night portraits.

Guadalupe Chapel Archive

The Guadalupe Chapel is like something from of a fairytale. It’s one of the most epic wedding venues we’ve ever seen. The church is underground, with the altar at the bottom of a stone staircase, surrounded by water from the cenote. You say your vows under a Ceiba tree, considered the “tree of life” in Mayan culture. The Guadalupe Chapelis also home to fun details like the painted wooden cutouts of important people from Mexico’s history. St. Francis of Assisi Chapel Weddings

The Saint Francis of Assisi Chapel is found at the highest point of Xcaret Park. The semi-open thatched “palapa” chapel has a rustic charm and it striking both for daytime and evening ceremonies. At the highest point of the Park the Saint Francis of Assisi Chapeloffers views of the ocean and the jungle.

La Isla Restaurant

La Isla Real Weddings

La Isla is a natural cave that’s been transformed into a restaurant. The massive space is covered by a traditional thatched “palapa” roof. La Isla is well equipped for BIG groups and can hold an incredible 600 guests. There is literally a river that runs through La Isla, not to mention an enormous stage for performances to surprise and delight your guests with Mariachi and Pre-Hispanic dancers being favorite choices.

Del Sol Travels Recommends

Since Xcaret Park Wedding ceremonies are often at dusk, after the park has closed, consider a first look before your ceremony! The time together in the park before the sun goes down is an excellent opportunity for “daytime” portraits with blue ocean and sky. Remember – the park is BIG – we’ve had couples spend up to 2 hours before their ceremony doing portraits! Don’t forget to schedule a little touch-up time before your ceremony though. There is a bridal suite beside the Guadalupe Chapel that is perfect for a quick freshen up.

Hacienda Henequenera

Xcaret Park’s second largest wedding reception venue is their replica of a Henequen Hacienda. The Hacienda Henequenera venue can host up to 550 guests and is located next to the Guadalupe Chapel.

El Caracol

El Caracol Real Wedding

Wedding parties often pass through El Caracol on the way to their reception at La Isla Restaurant. For an extra theatrical touch, we highly recommend the “Caracoleros” or conch blowers: Xcaret’s famous pre-hispanic dancers. El Caracol is also a unique, wedding ceremony venue. Wine Cellar / “Vino De Mexico Xcaret”

The Wine Cellar is a unique, intimate wedding venue ideally suited to smaller groups. It’s also a backup venue in case of rain! The caverns feel romantic, cozy and private with interconnecting caves and vaulted ceilings. The Wine Cellar lives up to its name, with 400 years of Mexican wine history and 150 labels of gran reserva.

The Natural Pools / Las Pozas

The Pools are Xcaret Park’s “beach” wedding venue. The wedding ceremony site is a stone platform with a stone altar that juts out into the ocean. The Pools has a capacity of up to 100, but larger wedding groups would have guests standing on the “shore.” Also important to note is that the Pools are not available until after the park has closed to the public so this is a sunset or nightime ceremony location. We have often used the Las Pozos as a first look location and it is a beautiful beach wedding reception spot.
