Chelsea and Jordan brought loved ones from the UK to Akumal. They chose the gorgeous Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort for their destination wedding. The Akumal Bay wedding locations are out of this world! Picture book perfect, secluded and pristine. Chelsea and Jordan chose the “Tropical Sea” ceremony location (also known by co-founder Matt as the “secret garden” on our site visit to the property.) The quintessential Caribbean destination wedding experience, accented by sumptuous floral arrangements is an incredible Caribbean destination wedding location. We asked Chelsea to tell us more about her day.
Del Sol: Was there a part of your ceremony that touched you?
“When we said we would be together forever. Blending the sands together as a representation of our love. Seeing him stood at the top of the isle. All amazing moments.”
Del Sol: How was your Akumal Bay Wedding experience?
Chelsea: “The Akumal Bay wedding coordinator and the hotel was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better day.”
Del Sol: We are in LOVE with the ceremony location you chose:Tropical Sea. Talk to us about how it felt to be married in that private corner of the beach with the perfect blue ocean behind you.
“There is no words to describe how you feel when you marry that special person your going to spend the rest of your life with. Walking up that aisle with that view was breathtaking and the flower arrangement were BEAUTIFUL””
Del Sol: How was your experience with the del Sol team?
Chelsea: “Everything was amazing! We aren’t very comfortable with having pictures taken but the team were very creative and really positive people. I couldn’t recommend enough!”
Del Sol: How was your experience in Mexico – bearing in mind the current travel advisories against Mexico?
“I would always recommend everyone to go to Mexico because it’s so AMAZING!! I have never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. We have been every year for the past three years and we would live there – just amazing!” – Chelsea
