Destination weddings most often bring to mind beaches, palm trees and barefoot brides but there are some gorgeous alternatives in Mexico for adventurous couples looking for something different. The state of Campeche is part of the Yucatan Peninsula, about 300 miles from Cancun, a destination rich in culture and Colonial era architecture. The Hacienda Uayamon is a magnificent venue from Starwood Hotels, set amidst soaring trees the hacienda was built in 1700 and has an ancient charm and character, so many “picture perfect” spots for photographers. Russians Olesya and Boris had an intimate wedding for two at the Hacienda and enjoyed a portrait session with the photographer. Embracing under the ancient arches, playing in the jungle and enjoying the refreshing waters of the pool, the photographer captured the love and tenderness of the newlyweds, pure romance!
