Campeche may be a lesser known region in Mexico but it is a simply gorgeous state in the Yucatan Peninsula that offers unique venues for destination weddings. Christiane and Gerardo chose the best destination wedding location, Hacienda Uayamon, a historical estate built in 1700. The rustic “ruin” of a chapel has hanging vines and is open to the sky, a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony. The lush gardens are ideal for an outdoor reception, with candlelight, flowers and white linens, it’s elegance in the midst of nature and history.
This was definitely one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding we have experienced, totally unique and a thrill to photograph! The architecture, nature and of course the gorgeous couple in love puts this in our “Hall of Faves”. We had a fantastic time shooting a Campeche hacienda trash the dress session with Christiane and Gerardo too, be sure to check out the slideshow!
