Andrea and Tarl chose to have a destination wedding in order to really enjoy an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends. The Royal Playa del Carmen set the scene for the festivities, this is a wonderful venue, located on the beach but just steps away from the action of 5th Avenue. The “getting ready” was a lot of fun, the contrast of the bride’s busy busy suite full of action and the groom and his men catching a little football and chilling put a smile on our face. The pillars and arches of the resort made for some great portrait shots, the architecture creates magical backdrops and shadow and light. The ceremony took place in The Royal Playa del Carmen gazebo with it’s tiled roof, flowing white fabric, white flowers and views of the sea, it was a romantic setting. Bride Andrea wore a beautiful gown by Allure Bridals, with a pretty veil with jeweled details, she was simply gorgeous. Wedding coordinator Anat Rosengaus of the Real Resorts brought the day together, from the white flowers and decor, great food, flowing drinks, to the final “sparkler send off”, it was a day to be remembered.
When we asked the couple why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what they shared with us:
When I think of my wedding photos I think of capturing those moments that not everyone sees, like the loving glances between the bride and groom or my grandmother laughing or the father daughter dance where my dad looks like he might cry. All the moments that mean the most but that you might miss if you don’t look closely. I like the dark, crisp style I have seen in your examples; simply the ability to capture pure/true/simple moments and make them look incredibly beautiful. Attention to detail is something I really value and you guys seem to have it in spades.
Photographer Martina was present to capture all the emotions and details and love, please be sure to see the whole slideshow. Del Sol Photography would like to thank Andrea and Tarl for inviting us to share in your destination wedding day, we wish you both much love and light!
