Destination Wedding at Sandos Cancun Luxury
The Cancun destination wedding of Cristina and Peter was a celebration of international love! Peter is a professional hockey player in Germany and Cristina is a fitness coach and a former weather person for Univision’s “Despierta America”, they met by chance at an event in San Antonio and the rest is history. They divide their time between Germany and the US, and with Cristina’s Mexican family background, it’s a multi-cultural love affair. Their wedding at Sandos Cancun brought friends and family together from around the world to enjoy a grand “pachanga” (party!), a Maya ceremony with officiants Ceremonia Maya, LOTS of tequila and mariachis motivating everyone to get up to sing and dance. Bride Cristina wore a lovely gown by David’s Bridal and her floral headpiece and bouquet of bright colors were magnificent! Wedding coordinator Miriam Granel of Sandos Resorts put together the perfect day for this large group, not only creating visual beauty, but a vibe and sense of fun that was felt throughout the whole day.
When we asked Cristina why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what she shared with us:
Not only do I LOVE your photography and editing skills and technique, but I noticed you’re amazing at capturing candid moments, which is all I really want. Years from now I want to open my wedding album and see faces with tears of happiness, laughter, hugging, kissing, dancing, singing and really re-live the moment over and over. When I have kids, I want them to see it, feel it and realize how fun (and good looking :P ) their parents used to be ;)
Our team was present to capture all the love and beauty of the day, please be sure to see the whole slideshow full of smiles and laughter. Del Sol Photography thanks Cristina and Peter for sharing their big day with us, we wish you both “Muchas Felicidades”, “Big Congratulations”, we know you have a bright and joyous future together.

I look at all your pictures and love them, but this particular wedding I found to be spectacular. The whole white clothing idea and flowers all over makes it unique. You guys, as always captured it. Very good job!
