Esencia Hotel Beach Trash the Dress

Hotel Esencia is one of the most beautiful properties in all of the Riviera Maya.  Formerly Esencia was a house made for an Italian Duchess, today the property has been renovated as one of the finest boutique hotels in Xpu Beach.

We were delighted to meet Mary and Donald at Esencia for their beach trash the dress session. The beach is home to one of our favorite and most frequented locations between Playa del Carmen and Tulum Mexico. Xpu Ha is one of the best spots for trash the dress sessions.  As you can see in the photos, it is a very private location and it’s also close to all of the cenotes for underwater photos.

Xpu Ha Bay is an 8-kilometer bay, located centrally in the cenote zone of Quintana Roo.  The ocean reflects amazing turquoise colors and you can always count on seeing a lot of marine life while snorkeling as well as spot the occasional turtle if you are lucky enough to swim here.
