Katie and Billy, they are the kind of people who don’t sweat the small stuff. What they are big on is baseball, so big that their cake topper was dedicated to the love of the sport! Since they both were born and live in Long Island in New York, one would think they both like NY teams… NOT the case. Bill is a hardcore Red Sox fan and Katie loves the Mets, but they didn’t let that rivalry come between them :)
They got married in the Gazebo at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort. Dreams built a beautiful wedding venue that elevates all the guests and has a panoramic view of the ocean! Katie wanted a 1920ish theme great Gatsby – but tropical… so we have a fusion here!
One of the key takeaways is that Katie wanted her 9 bridesmaids to be comfortable and gave them the freedom to select their own dresses. The girls all picked out their own embellished gold dresses so everyone can have something they like and feel they look great in.
We hope to see you both in a year on your anniversary. We already know what you should wear… Bill, we love your “Booze Shirt”…hahaha!
