Hacienda del Secreto Beach Wedding
Krissia and Shane chose the fabulous Hacienda el Secreto for their wedding day. They told us they loved its private location and beautiful villas and who could resist a location that is called “secret beach”!.
“Hacienda del Secreto is right on the beach and is a private residence so there are very few other people in the area. Doy Cooper and her crew were especially hospitable and made our special day perfect.” – Krissia
Weddings are full of priceless moments but we love to know what are the parts of the day that mean the most to the bride and groom:
“One of our favorite parts about the wedding day was when we performed the “sand ceremony” during our vows. It signified two separate worlds coming together to be joined forever as one. Our first dance was magical. We were so excited to be in each others arms. We were finally able to call each other husband and wife, with our closest friends and family there to share with us.”
“For me it was when I saw Krissia at the top the stairs with her mom and dad, about to walk down the aisle to marry me. I felt like I was the luckiest man alive and I was so excited to hold her hands in mine, to say our vows to each other and be married.” – Shane
“for me it was that both of my parents were there to see me and Shane get married. They hadn’t seen each other in 10 years and it was special to have them both there to witness our special day.” – Krissia
We asked Krissia and Shane what their top tips are to having a beautiful destination wedding.
“A good piece of advice is to not let the little things affect you and to truly enjoy the beautiful scenery, the good food and the fact that people you love and care about were able to travel a great distance to see you get married.”
