Mexico Destination Wedding Hotel Esencia in the Riviera Maya

Hotel Esencia is a place where we often go for a vacation spot when time permits. As luck would have it, Jocelyn and her family have been vacationing in the Riviera Maya, temporary residents of Akumal and frequent visitors to the Former Seaside Duchess Mansion, Hotel Esencia Estate.

Esencia is a boutique property, member of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World, SLH.com“. The beaches at Xpu-Ha are magical, rustic and yet very remote with very few public accesses on the entire bay. Their star amenity (besides the Caribbean Ocean background) there is a small reef off the shore, only 25 meters out.

Food at Hotel Esencia is 2nd to none, Esencia staff and management team truly make you feel like your at your home with the ultimate in hospitality, all the way down to your fresh bread tray (Pan Dulce) at 7:30 AM with fine coffee waiting for you every day.

I am so thankful Jocelyn and Mike wanted to do their destination wedding on this magical property as it is always a chance for me to return and to visit friends, the entire staff of the hotel is such a pleasure to know.
