Paradisus La Esmeralda Wedding – Amanda and Michael
“For the past 6 years you have been my best friend, soulmate, and biggest fan, but most importantly you are the love of my life” – Mike
“When Mike said that line while reciting his vows I started to cry, happy tears. I couldn’t believe that I was standing at the alter in a beautiful place about to marry the man of my dreams in front of our closest friends and family. It was in that moment that I realized I was the luckiest girl alive.” – Amanda
There is so much to love in Amanda and Mike’s wedding. Amanda made beautiful and emotional first looks with her father and her husband to be followed by gorgeous and heartfelt ceremony.
“My first look with my father was very important to me. It was special to share that moment with him before the wedding started. I was excited to show him my wedding dress for the first time and although as his youngest daughter I’m all grown up I wanted that moment to be a reminder that I will always be his little girl.” – Vanessa
“I was speechless. When I saw Amanda for the first time on our wedding day I didn’t know what to say. She was so beautiful.” – Mike
What we really love was the striking contrast of the formal part of Amanda and Mike’s day and the party. Mike’s entrance set the tone!
“I asked Mike to wear a suit for the day of our wedding because I wanted him to look formal. We knew it was going to be hot outside that day, so we agreed he could take off his suit jacket and vest during the reception.”
“The heat definitely got the best of him! He couldn’t wait to rip his jacket off!”
“As we were waiting to make our entrance we thought it would be hilarious if Mike started taking off his suit while walking in. Mike has a great sense of humor and it definitely showed during our entrance.”
“Our first dance together was so special. We danced to “a thousand years” by Christina Perri. The lyrics were a beautiful representation of the love that Mike and I shared. Of course I couldn’t help but cry!”
“We couldn’t wait to celebrate with our guests! We’ve dreamt about this day for so long that we just wanted to let loose and enjoy it!”
“Mike and I have a strong bond with our siblings. We wanted to share a special moment with them that we can remember forever. Our siblings dance was a way for us to express our love to our siblings and welcome each other as brother and sister in laws!”
“Mike and I looked at a ton of resorts for our wedding before deciding on Paradisus. We liked that Paradisus offered a private and intimate ceremony location on the Gabi Bridge. It was also helpful that they had a romance team in Miami that was available to help planning and answer questions.”
“Allison was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She put my mind to ease about everything. The staff at the resort were excellent too! Lillian, our on site coordinator was so helpful and personable. She made our vision of a perfect wedding day a reality.”
“Vanessa and the Del Sol team were amazing and went above and beyond the day of our wedding. They made Mike and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were always respectful in allowing us to share intimate moments among each other and our family without being intrusive.”
“Mike and I wanted to make sure that our wedding day was going to be unforgettable. Not only for us, but for our guests too! We felt that having a destination wedding was a more intimate setting to celebrate our love with our closest family and friends.” #travelforlove
