Principal photographer: Sol Tamargo

Del Sol Photography was so excited to shoot the wedding of Estela (aka “Sol”) and Jay. In 2011 we were there for the surprise engagement of this gorgeous couple and we were thrilled to be able to join them for their nuptials on the beach of the Playacar Palace. Police officer Jay and 2nd grade teacher Estela invited their closest family and friends to join them in Playa del Carmen to celebrate their union of love. The Palace Resort’s wedding coordinator Dulce Pazos did a lovely job of putting together a magical wedding day, from the bright red and orange flowers and decor to the delicious dinner and energetic party, this was an event to remember for all.

Sol was simply beautiful in her bridal gown be Demetrios and Jay was handsome in Calvin Klein. When we asked the couple why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what they had to say:

We are previous clients and absolutely love the creativity of each photographer. We are not looking for the typical wedding photography. We want our day documented like a fairy tale and we love candid photos. Not to mention, everyone that has seen our engagement photos has marveled, if not cried, at how beautiful they are!

Most of all, these guys have gone FULL circle with us. From surprise proposal / engagement photos in the rain, wedding day magic, to the after day wedding trash the dress photos underwater. WOW. We are so honored you would include us in this family legacy and adventure of mexico travel!
