Riviera Maya Destination Wedding Xcaret – Rebecca and John Wedding

Rebecca and John decided on an alternative route to the typical Destination Wedding at a big resort when they decided to get married in the Riviera Maya.

Rebecca and John had fallen in love with Xcaret, a Maya themed Eco-Park half way between Cancun and Tulum, just 5 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.  It’s a great place that always has amazing cultural events, festivities and simply beautiful surroundings.  They also have a few great chapels on the property for those looking for a uniquely religious experience in a mind-blowing location.

They opted to get ready at Pueblito Escondido, on Shangri-La Beach in Playa del Carmen.  These luxury condos are replete with full kitchens, private terraces and pools and a view of the city like no other!  From there it was a short trip down the highway to Xcaret.  While it’s not always easy to transport your nearest and dearest between locations in a foreign country, these two did it right by keeping everyone in the same place, keeping the locations close, and being well organized!

Xcaret is one of those locations that is just a dream for photographers, and we never have enough time to make art out of all that we see.  Between the religious regalia, historical artifacts, and divinely cultural relics – the colors of the Maya and Mexico Lindo come alive in this place.  It’s not hard to imagine why someone would want to start their love journey together here.
