Riviera Maya Trash The Dress Cenote and Beach – Michelle and Christopher

After meeting at a destination wedding years ago, it only seemed fitting that Canadian Michelle and Christopher get married in paradise too.

They got me at the first smile, their outgoing cheerful spirit was awesome! Just my kind of people! Not to mention they were ready for anything! I can be a little bossy giving instructions and to get the shot there are quite a few repetitions. With the best attitude they got out of the water as experts in the mermaid technique.

We were happy to hear that Michelle and Christopher were referred to us by our past clients Danielle and Brandon, whose “Adam and Eve” trash the dress shoot is definitely one of our favorites! When we asked Michelle for her thoughts on why Del Sol Photography was the right fit for her, here is what she shared with us:

Lighting, moment capturing, tropical cenotes, underwater, splashing in the waves, everything! I have spent hours going through the website photo albums and are absolutely in awe of the quality of the photos that are unlike anything I have ever seen before. I think the lighting stands out the most for me, the clarity of the photos underwater and the playful use of light. I am amazed at how these regular people are able to produce such amazing photographs. Chris was not at all interested in any sort of photography for our wedding (engagement photos, at the wedding) until I showed him your website, it changed his mind quick! I’m most interested in the underwater/cenote shots for sure, they look magical! Can’t wait!
