Mexico Destination Wedding Fairmont Mayakoba and Xcaret – Savi and Robert
This Mexico destination wedding was a true fairy tale event in the Mexican Caribbean. The day started off at the luxurious Fairmont Mayakoba Resort, where family, friends and vendors happily gathered for the preparations. We met bride Savi during the getting ready time, she was just beautiful in her gown by Saison Blanche and her natural beauty was enhanced by Norma from Mac Cancun and Martha from HAIR Beauty Salon & Spa. After a first look session at the hotel, the bride and groom headed to Xcaret in style, nothing more luxurious than a Rolls Royce ride. Xcaret park offers gorgeous natural settings and lively colors that photograph beautifully and a myriad of settings for portraits.

This was our first wedding at the Guadalupe Chapel in Xcaret which is an extraordinary venue; the huge chapel is actually an underground cenote.
The altar is set upon a sacred cenote at the base of a giant Ceiba tree, known to the Maya as “The Tree of Life”. The wooden pews are decorated with famous Mexican personalities, adding a little celebrity to the guest list. The altar, surrounded by water and the beautiful lighting creates a unique ambience. The church is beautiful on it’s own but Eventos Euforia gave it a special touch with petals, candles and floral arrangements. This is one of the few church wedding venues in the Riviera Maya that offer traditional religious services and it is striking!
The Mexico destination wedding reception followed shortly after at La Isla Restaurant where everybody enjoyed an exquisite meal along with a a performance by Xcaret’s famous pre-hispanic dancers, mariachi music and mucha fiesta!
Huge congrats to Savi & Robert and thanks for giving us the opportunity to capture your special day!
