The beach, ocean views, and sunshine are what we most often associate with a Mexican Destination wedding. Anita and Maurice though fell in love with the lush jungle of Tulum and the romantic ambiance of the night. We LOVE couples who throw tradition to the wind and come up with a destination wedding that truly represents THEM! With the help of super wedding coordinator Lucy Gallagher, they discovered the beautiful Shiva Tulum, a restaurant nestled in the heart of Tulum’s beach zone.
When Anita and Maurice told us that they wanted a non-traditional spiritual wedding ceremony, we were delighted to connect them with our friend and officiant Lorena.

“The most important lesson learned from our wedding is to keep in mind that your friends and family traveled far and wide to celebrate you. Your love, union, and future life together. So don’t sweat some of the details that inevitably don’t come out exactly as you may have envisioned. They won’t notice or care! :)” – Maurice
