Tulum Destination Wedding at Akiin Beach Club
We first met Jessy and Jason a few days before their wedding for their trash the dress shoot with Sol. We knew from the start that we were going to have a great time, they are a fabulous couple with contagious smiles and a sense of adventure and fun! This is the story of Jessy and Jason’s Akiin Tulum Destination Wedding.
Akiin Tulum Destination Wedding Beach Ceremony Celebration moment
Their destination wedding in Tulum was perfect, laid back yet elegant, full of emotion and love. The weather was ideal, blue skies with big fluffy clouds and a clear night to see the stars, the Tulum you find in postcards. The ceremony on the beach took place under the chupah decorated in pretty flowers, bride Jessy wore a gown by Jasmine Couture that showed off her magnificent curves, with hair and makeup by Sara Tamargo, stunning bride! Her handsome and debonair groom Jason wore a light grey Perry Ellis vest and rolled up sleeves, the picture of “beach wedding casual”.
After the ceremony, the party began, cold drinks and toasts, hugs all around and a mariachi serenade. The Akiin Beach Club is one of our favorites for receptions, the huge palapa on the beach is a great place for a fiesta and the decor is always stunning, twinkling lights and paper lanterns and incredible floral arrangements. Everyone was smiling and laughing, it was a wonderful celebration of the joining of the families.

“Motion and emotion”, but especially “emotion”, gorgeous people, details and amazing light. What a day for a wedding! After shooting Yesenia and Jason’s trash the dress I was already familiar with them, their big smiles and charm.
