Fun and Empowering Friends Portrait Session

Del Sol Photography: Hola Jenna, it would be awesome if you could explain your idea for your session! 

A day to celebrate the beauty and strength of women.  My hope was to capture the warmth of friendship, the powerfulness, beauty and strength of each woman, and to use body art to allow us to express our own individual selves. 

The combination of art + photography + strong woman = something magical

• Tell us about your body paint? 

Ingrid Martinez from InMar Body Art painted us and did an absolutely fantastic job.  Each image was customized the day of with Ingrid and as you can tell I’m sure from the photos, her talents are endless.

Each woman picked their own images and colors.  Across our backs, the image was built so it would scroll diagonally across each back so when we all stood together it would blend.  On our fronts, each woman had a body art necklace drawn.  As for the images chosen, these were picked by each person individually.  

• Did you have fun and feel empowered by your session?

The entire day was fantastic!  From the time spent with Ingrid to the photo session, the day celebrated friendship and the power and strength of women. 

From the impromptu walk down 5th, to the individual shots to capture each person’s unique beauty… fun and empowering sums up the day perfectly.

• How was your experience with Valeria and the del Sol Team?

Del Sol is a wonderful team to work with.  The entire team from starting a simple idea to execution is top notch.  Valeria did a fantastic job and you could tell she really understood what I was hoping to capture for the day.  Thank you again for making that day so very special.
