Akumal Wedding – La Buena Vida – Adia and Josh

Candid, fun people always make candid, fun photographs. We love this cute introduction on Josh and Adia’s wedding website on how they met :) The event was the Akumal Wedding Buena Vida.

How we met …Josh met Adia trying to pick up Flight Attendants at an airport bar….

Ahhhhhhh….. La Buena Vida….  The good life.  If you have ever traveled to Akumal on Mexico’s Riviera Maya coastline and explored the small little beach town, you certainly can identify with “La Buena Vida”. La Buena Vida is actually a name of a small boutique restaurant on Half Moon Bay in Akumal.  The location, however, is an amazing, mind-blowing paradise where you can swim with sea turtles practically every day.

When we first heard from Adia and Josh, they were expecting a child and didn’t know if it was a girl or a boy. What a treat to meet them on the wedding day with the new addition to the family (Baby Ella). For us, photographing a wedding is very special as it’s usually a union of two people and two families. But with a brand new member of the family, there is nothing more endearing than to see a bride with her new baby in her arms on her wedding day.

I love beautiful images! And I love candid moments!
This wedding will be super laid back, bright and colorful!! This will probably be the first time we have the family all together in such a beautiful location. We will also have our first child with us (he or she, we are waiting until delivery day to find out!) will be about 6 months at that time, and I would really love to capture those moments together. – Adia
