Beach Wedding at Esencia – with a touch of rain – Christine and Bryce

Rain and indeed even the threat of it has the reputation of putting a damper on a wedding day – but it shouldn’t be so! Time and again we’re told how weather surprises make weddings more intimate and cozy and ends up bringing everyone closer together. As serendipity would have it, the rain stopped in time for Christine and Bryce to get married on the beach. As it turns out, the rain held off through the formal portraits just in time after a big group photo and then everyone was able to run for cover!
Bryce told us that they chose Esencia because of the the natural and unique beauty of the hotel and that they especially loved the people that worked there. We couldn’t agree more, Esencia is one of our favorite luxury boutique hotels and is tucked away on the exceptionally beautiful beach of Xpu-Ha, a real hidden gem.
