This a new venue for us so it was my absolute pleasure to be the first del Sol Photographer to shoot a destination wedding in this magical Caribbean spot. Bonus that they have a pier which gives us a chance to record a sunset during the ceremony as the Riviera Maya faces east, I think this venue is a KILLER spot for all brides. This hotel has a boutique feeling and is a perfect “all inclusive” intimate wedding option and also VERY CLOSE to Playa del Carmen, only a few miles North of the city.
The bride’s words to us:
Aside from art photos Del Sol creates, for me, what drew me the most to your work is the emotion I see in your work. There were a few images I saw that really made me tear up, especially dad and bride images. It really touched my heart. I grew up in Korea and left when I was 18 for college in USA, so I’ve been living apart from my parents since-13 years. I keep them very dear to my heart and there’s always a lingering emotion in my heart whenever I think about them.
It was my pleasure to shoot this wedding, to be so close to the family during these intimate moments, thank you for trusting our creative vision!
