Cancun Wedding at Mandala Beach Club
This Cancun wedding at Mandala Beach Club was a very special event for us at Del Sol Photography. Sol had captured the surprise Xoximilco engagement of Leo and Wendy, happy to be present for this romantic moment of these dear friends. It was with great anticipation that we arrived in Cancun for the beach wedding of these two love birds, knowing the bride and groom as good friends brings a very personal element to the task of capturing their big day. As the sun began to set, family and friends gathered on the sand of the Mandala Beach Club to witness the joining of Leo and Wendy. Bride Wendy was absolutely lovely in her custom gown (with a sassy touch of platform sneakers), she descended the steps to the beach to join Leo under the chupah with the ocean breeze in her veil. After the civil ceremony and formalities were complete, the pair were blessed in a Mayan ceremony to bring them together before the universe. As man and wife, they followed the photographer to the sea for a fun newlywed portrait shoot at dusk.
The festivities continued with a reception at the Guaranar Salon in downtown Cancun. The newlyweds were welcomed with a round of applause and the party really got started. A delicious dinner, simple and elegant decor and a rocking dance floor, this was a fabulous party full of love for Leo and Wendy. Wedding coordinator Abril Tamayo of Mar y Amor Weddings ensured a perfect day from start to finish, from the pretty floral touches to the very popular dessert table, it was a Cancun wedding that truly reflected the personalities of the bride and groom.
