Cenote Trash the Dress

This cenote trash the dress shoot with Ary and Alessio was a fun day of relaxation and adventure for this local couple. Ary is a wedding coordinator with Just Moments in the Riviera Maya and we were happy to share a day with her where SHE got to be the princess bride. Alessio is a handsome Italian man originally from the Dolomites area, though he has changed mountains for ocean in his move to the Riviera Maya. Both Ary and Alessio love the “tattoo experience” and have matching tats of a winged flower. They met in Puerto Morelos and Alessio has the iconic lighthouse inked on his arm in addition to a blue deer representing the Huichol ceremony the couple shared at their wedding. Ary wore two beautiful gowns to the shoot, one elegant and simple sheath for the jungle and another with a flowing skirt that flowed and moved like magic underwater.

The warm and loving couple were full of smiles all day long as they embraced and swam together under the guidance of photographer Polly. A cenote trash the dress session is harder than it may appear, heavy dresses, cold water, we have to give major kudos to couples like Ary and Alessio who make it look so easy!
