Commercial photography Riviera Maya – Hillberg & Berk Jewelry
Del Sol Photography was recently hired to do a commercial photography riviera maya underwater fashion shoot for a Canadian jewelry company, Hillberg & Berk. When they described the concept to us, we were thrilled to accept the assignment. The theme of the shoot was “Oceanic Fantasy” launching their La Sirena Collection, with model Bri taking on the role of “Queen of the Ocean”. This beautiful woman has recently gone through treatment for cancer and is a role model of strength and perseverance, the ideal representation of Hillberg & Berk’s vision of empowering women.
The Del Sol Photography team spent the day on the beach of the Hotel Al Cielo and in a nearby sacred cenote, capturing the “Queen of the Ocean” in some gorgeous bathing suits, dresses and of course, spectacular jewels. Model Bri was a JOY to work with, so much fun and a real natural underwater, not an easy task, particularly in heavy dresses and crowns!
Big thanks to everyone at Hillberg & Berk for sharing such an adventurous day with us and thanks to Sol Tamargo and the Del Sol team for capturing the magic! We are looking forward to more commercial photography shoots in the future, such fun!

We were delighted to be asked once again to photograph Hillberg & Berk’s Spring Summer collection
My mother was a model until she was 73 years old, ending her career with the Ponds campaign that celebrated women of all ages, sizes, color..
Both Grandmothers, My father and an uncle died of cancer and my 3rd uncle is dying in the next few weeks of cancer. Cancer takes away so many of our loved ones.
This campaign makes me really proud to be a Canadian living in Mexico for the past 32 years. Actually Cancun is the home of my daughter and grand daughter.
Thanks very much for a beautiful job of bringing Beauty and Cancer into the same picture.

Very unique and creative. Stunning.
Wow….These are the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen!! In December 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When I lost my hair, eyelashes and eyebrows while going through treatment….It was hard to even recognize myself. On a good day, I would try to just work with it and managed to still feel a bit sexy inside. These pictures are so inspiring! Thank you for capturing beauty and sexiness… to a not so sexy illness.
Thanks so much for sharing your story Francesca, you are an inspiration! All the best to you!
